Mismatch Nails!

Hey guys! I have great nails to show you guys today!! So for these I felt like doing a different design on every. single. nail. :) It took me like 2 hours because it was hard to think of different things to do and I was watching Lost! If you haven't seen this show, you need too! I've been watching it on Netflix and I'm seriously addicted.

Anyways, for my nails I chose 3 colors that are all from China Glaze.

 Here's what they all looked like! :)

And for these close up pictures I used the Easy-Macro Lens which just straps on to your phone and takes amazing macro shots!

 Ok, for the top left I used a fan brush, dipped it into some polish remover to separate it, and then dipped it into some polish and lightly dragged it across the nail. It's definitely my favorite nail!!

 The rest are pretty self explanatory on how to do them... I did these about 4 days ago and there's only 1 jewel that fell off and minor tip wear! I love Seche Vite!!

Coral and Chevron Nails!!

Hey guys! So I have some good news and I have some bad news.. I'll start with the good news...
My nails look good! I did a very simple design for now. It's a chevron accent nail and the rest are a coral color!

 Cool right?

And now for the bad news.. I was ice skating the yesterday with my friends and only like 15 minutes into it my leg slipped back, I turned and I dislocated my knee. -_- This isn't the first time this has happened. But, I sat on the ice for so long that my pants actually froze to the ground!

New Years Nails and Phone Case Addiction!

This is my first post in the new year and it doesn't feel any different... haha anyways I did have a New Years nail design.. it's not my best since I'm still trying to figure out how to use the striping tape..

yea..not that good... it has 2013 on the purple nails just in case you couldn't tell..

And on to another thing in my life..phone cases.
I'm addicted to making phone cases.

On Pinterest there was this idea where you could decorate a piece of paper, the same size as your phone, any way you want to. Then you stick it in the clear case! I love it! I've made about 25 in the past three days and I'm pretty proud how they turned out! When I didn't have many ideas I looked at other cases online and could almost replicate them! Here are some of them..

 I freehanded all of these..no rulers! Just sharpies and a pencil!

 They're so addicting to make! I'm obsessed with it..I change them like everyday..

Anchor Nail Art!

Hey guys!! I was going to post this yesterday but, it was getting too late and I was tired.. :)


First, I just wanted to show you how I looked yesterday!

So, the other night I curled my hair with "flexi-rods"... what you do is you get your hair slightly damp, wrap a section of hair (as thick or as thin as you want depending on the size of curl you want) around the rod and then secure the ends. Then you wait till your hair dries all the way.. I usually sleep with them in...

In the morning when you take them out its a perfect no-heat curl! So when I took them out in the morning it reminded me of how Taylor Swifts hair looked when it was always curled! Then I tried to do my make-up and look like her... here's how it looked..

There's an effect on all these pictures so really, my lips were red instead of bright pink.. I didn't look much like her but, I like how I did the make-up! I think that was like the first time I wore lipstick.. :) haha


For my nails, I was trying some of the different polishes I got.. for the nails that look pink ( it's really like a darker pink red color) I used the Avon - Watermelon and for my ring finger I used Sinful Colors - Rain Storm. I have 1 coat on for both of these polishes!!

Then on my ring finger I used one, of my many striping tapes that I just got, in the color gold!
And for the anchors I used the silver Destined polish!

I only have one coat of Seche Vite on my ring finger because I might be changing these soon..

 Sorry for the blurry pictures.. but, they're anchor nails! I really don't think it's time for anchors since it's more of a summery design but oh well... I like them!

ehh.. this one's really blurry... :(

I got a Helmer!! (Picture Heavy Post!)

Hey guys!! Guess what!?! I got a Helmer!!! If you don't know what a Helmer is, it looks like this..

It's like a tall filing cabinet sort of thing from Ikea.. a bunch of nail bloggers have one and I wanted one so bad!! I've only filled up about half of 2 drawers with nail polish and in the top 2 drawers I have top/base coats,glitter, and nail art supplies..leaving the last 2 drawers empty! I love it so much!!

I also got some nail polish for Christmas!

 My cousins got me these 4 and they're soo pretty!! I've never heard of this brand before but, it works great!

 Then I got these 3 Sinful colors nail polishes! They are beautiful and work great!

 These are my first ever Avon polishes and they are definitely not my last! The reddish pink color goes on perfectly in only one coat!

And these are also my first Julep and Nails Inc. polishes!! They go on so smoothly!
I didn't take a picture of it but I also got a Seche Vite topcoat!!! I tried it today and I think it may be my new favorite!

Now, you might have noticed that a lot of my pictures aren't the best quality and that's because I take them on my phone... but, I got this camera lens called the Easy-Macro and it takes AMAZING close ups!

oh.. I also got some EOS lipbalm.. haha but the bottom picture is the lens

and these 2 pictures I took with my Iphone and the lens! It works so well!!

The last thing I'll show you is this sign/picture I got to hang in my room!!

Merry Christmas Eve! Reindeer Nails!!

Merry Christmas Eve everyone!! I can't believe that Christmas is already tomorrow! It came so fast! I think I started doing Christmas nail designs at the beginning of the month and I loved every single one! Sadly, this is my last one for this holiday but, don't worry.. it's a good one!

I was having a hard time figuring out what I should do so I went on Pinterest and found a really cute reindeer one! According to the watermark I'm pretty sure The Nailasaurus did the design!

Snowflake Nails + Instagram Shoutout!

Hey guys! Sorry this is a late post today.. I didn't have time over the weekend to write it..but anyways here's my nail design for this week! Snowflakes!

 I was inspired by CutePolish on YouTube for the snowflakes.. my poor nails...they're so short.. :(

Candy Cane Nails!

Hey guys!! So I'm SUPER excited about these nails! They look great!! Here they are!

 I didn't plan on doing glitter so that might be a pain to get off... -_-

 I love this design a lot! Even though I really don't like candy canes..

Christmas French Tips!

Hey guys! Ok, so I'm kinda sad how bad these look in pictures.. they look great in person though! Here's what I did..

 For the tips all I did was paint some of my nail white. Then I used a small bush dipped in acetone to wipe it away and make the french tip! Then turned out really well!

 Then I used a dotter and some red and green to outline the tips :)

 I really don't know why it's all pink around my cuticles! It doesn't look like that at all in person!

 Then I did three flowers and used a striper to do some leaves and vines..

 Well that's it for now!

Our Christmas Tree!

December 1st! And finally! The Christmas tree is up! And it looks amazing!!We tried something a little different this time where there was like a color theme.. and I REALLY like it!!

Now I can't take full credit on the bow and ribbon going down the tree... I saw it on one of my favorite organizing blogs http://iheartorganizing.blogspot.com/ When I saw her tree I instantly fell it love! If you haven't checked out her blog you need too!!

Ok, back to the tree. There's something a little surprising about it...every single thing and I mean everything except a sheer ribbon we used to tie the red and gold balls on are from the....Dollar Tree! But that doesn't matter because the tree looks beautiful!

So, we have one gold star and two red ones..

 Then they had like a five pack of the red "JOY" and we got one gold "PEACE"..

 The red swirly reindeer's were also in a five pack but, we only used three.. and the other reindeer came with two..

Now this is one of my favorites! The gold bird! And the red balls we tied a white sheer bow at the top. We got two packs of each the red and gold balls which came with seven in a pack.

I didn't get a close up picture of these long, swirly icicles things but, they're one of my favorites too! They came in a pack of ten and we got 20 silver ones and 10 red ones. They worked great to fill in all the empty spots! 

As you've probably noticed the theme for the tree was red and gold with some pops of silver here and there. :) The annoying thing about all the glitter ornaments is that the glitter falls off and gets EVERYWHERE. If you shake a bunch on the icicles it pours glitter! 

It's definitely starting to feel a lot like Christmas!
