Coral and Chevron Nails!!

Hey guys! So I have some good news and I have some bad news.. I'll start with the good news...
My nails look good! I did a very simple design for now. It's a chevron accent nail and the rest are a coral color!

 Cool right?

And now for the bad news.. I was ice skating the yesterday with my friends and only like 15 minutes into it my leg slipped back, I turned and I dislocated my knee. -_- This isn't the first time this has happened. But, I sat on the ice for so long that my pants actually froze to the ground!

Ok, well that's enough of that... :)

Snowflake Nails + Instagram Shoutout!

Hey guys! Sorry this is a late post today.. I didn't have time over the weekend to write it..but anyways here's my nail design for this week! Snowflakes!

 I was inspired by CutePolish on YouTube for the snowflakes.. my poor nails...they're so short.. :(

Now for an Instagram post/shoutout!

So in a couple of my other posts you've might have seen a couple drawings that I've done before... but there not as good as this one girls. She's AMAZING! Her username on Instagram is @colour_me_creative and she's an outstanding artist!! Shes inspired me to draw these!..

Argyle Nails!

Hey guys! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend! And yay it's Tutorial Tuesday once again! 

Sorry about the pinkie... I did the white all wrong :)

 So I'm pretty sure the design is called argyle but, it also looks like a sweater.. anyways here's how I did it..

First, I painted my nails any color(s) I wanted to..

Then using a striping brush I made an "X" and filled it in..

 Then I used a white striper and did a diamond.. these don't look as good on camera then they do in person. -_-

Thanksgiving Nails!!!

Hey Guys! Ahh! So Thanksgiving is tomorrow and what's better then putting turkeys on your nails? Haha.. anyways here's what they look like..

I'm in love with them! They little turkeys are just too cute! But what's weird is that I think I did better on my bad hand.. here's my other hand..

Dandelion nails!

Hey Guys!! I'm excited about this design! But I'm also excited for this tiger I drew!!

It's like my best drawing yet! It's completely free handed.. I just looked at a picture of the tiger that I found on Pinterest. :)

Speaking of Pinterest I also got my nail design from there. It's the dandelion nails! For it I used..

- Revlon - Cloud
- black
- white
- toothpick

So first I painted all my nails with a light blue/grayish color..

Then using the toothpick and black paint a curved black line on your middle finger and pinky. At the top of the lines make s small dot..

Still with the toothpick use white to make the white parts of the dandelion. Put them at the tops of all your nails and and the tops of the black lines..

And there ya go! Dandelion Nails!!

Keep Polish Looking Fresh!

Hey guys! Has your nail polish ever chipped off a couple days after you've painted them and you're either forced to redo that whole nail or change your whole design? Well, here's some tips to help prevent that!

1. Paint Thin Layers: Even if you have to do more layers to get the color you're looking for, it's much better than doing a big, huge glob and denting it since it takes so long to dry.
2. Wrap The Nails: Paint them how you usually do, but after take the brush and paint along the bottom edge of the nail. This makes it harder for your nail polish to chip off.
3. Always, Always, Always Use a Topcoat!: Okay, it's pretty obvious, but if you're like me and change your nails every week than you don't exactly need a topcoat unless you want it to be shiny:). But if you plan on keeping your manicure on for a while then definitely wear one! You could also put on a topcoat every other day and wrap the nail with it to really make sure it doesn't chip.
4. Don't Be Harsh on Them: Again, another obvious one, but you still need to be reminded :). Some chemicals are bad for your nails and hands so try to wear gloves when you're cleaning with products. 
5. Have Clean Nails Before You Start: Your hands produce a lot of oils so washing them and swiping polish remover over them before you paint helps the polish stick on to your nails more. Also use a base coat before you apply any colored polish.
6. Make Sure Their Dry: Sometimes it might take a while to dry and when you think it is you touch it and mess up the whole nail!! So to make sure they do dry you could dip your nails in a glass of ice cold water for a minute or two. Also a thin coat of a fast drying topcoat works great! I've heard that you could spray PAM to instantly dry them, never tried it but if any of you do comment below and tell me how it worked!!

Sharpie tye-dye Nails!

Hey Guys! I'd like to show you how to create these amazing nails with sharpies!

You need: -Sharpies    -White polish     -Clear top coat

Start off by painting your whole nail white..

Use the sharpies and put little dots in any pattern on your nail..

Finish up the dots..

Put a clear coat on, clean them up if needed and then you're done! :)
